This weekends been a little like spring.Skylarks singing butterflies on the wing,bumble bees terrorising the house and on a sunny day its still light after work.Highlights this weekend were 1 Spotted Redshank,1 Greenshank and 2 Green Sandpipers at Golcliff Lagoons.Also 4+ Rock pipits at Boat Lane.
No sign of any hides bieng built but the few million pouds worth of
visitors centre is about to be opened soon.

I love that bit about tranquility on the poster - construction work ongoing at the power station (and on the centre), 100 of Newport's finest out for a stroll, light aircraft coming and going from 'Whitson aerodrome',... I'm hoping that, once the cafe is open, that is about as far as 90% of the visitors will get.
