Black Redstart showed pretty well at Peterstone Gout in a freezing cold northerly wind.
It was seen on both sides of the gout and went missing for long periods.

Quite Weekend

Not much happened on the weekend the only interesting sightings came in the form of a Swallow and a SpotRed at peterstone and a Goldeneye at Ynysyfro.Did visit some mountain above Pontypool in the gale force NE winds looking for a Snow Bunting but didn't walk far enough and ended up looking in the wrong Place.Outcome Snow Bunting not on the year List.Anyway here's a pic of the folly tower with Llandegfedd res in the backround.Might be able to do the gull roost from here as Llandegfedd gates will shut a 4pm this winter.
