Peterstone gout this afternoon produced good numbers of the usual duck,the best of the rest were 2 Merlin and 2 Common Scoter. Check out the high quality snap below.
It was proberly the same bird but with two scoters we might as well have two Merlin.the second one did fly from the direction of where the first one went.With head of scoter,body of log and tail of mermaid a new breed of monster.All further sightings to be put on the GOS page.

Never mind how many Merlin, I thought you had photographed the Loch Ness Monster!
